Roda I is produced in La Rioja Alta, where high quality wines are made. The cellars are underground, with constant temperature and humidity all year round. This is perfect for producing good wines.
The vines are selectively harvested by hand, so that only grapes with the ideal degree of ripeness are taken. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in large, temperature-controlled oak vats.
Finally, Levin spends 16 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and the other 50% used once before. The wine is naturally stabilized and traditionally clarified with egg white. Once bottled, it spends 20 months in the magnificent cellars to achieve perfection.
It's a great wine for immediate consumption, but it's also an excellent wine for laying down.
Drink in moderation. Alcohol abuse is dangerous to health.
