The 50% Iberian Sierra de Barbedillo shoulder comes from animals fed on grass and cereals and raised freely in the oak forests of southwest Spain.
The animals will seek to eat flowers, roots and grasses and a supply of cereals. All this in an ecosystem unique in Europe. More than a million hectares of meadows and forests. Holm oaks, cork oaks, oaks and other plant species populate the landscape.
The microclimate of the area is suitable for the breeding of Iberian pigs and also for curing. With a very dry climate that allows the pieces to age naturally in cellars. No mechanical means are used.
All this gives an exceptional taste to this shoulder which has an excellent quality-price ratio.
